>I walked around Clinton Hill and went to Prospect Park and ate at a wonderful vegetarian restaurant off of 4th Avenue. I bought the loveliest edition of Colette’s “Le Kepi” for 25 cents! I can’t find an image of it but its from “Le Livre de Poche” and looks thematically like the cover pictured in this post. The only difference is “Le Kepi” is all grapefruit pink, blue, and tangerine which are some of the three nicest colors together I can imagine. There’s also a great photo of Miss Colette on the back. I also got “The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas” which I’m ashamed to say I’ve never read. I started it and love it and wish I were talented enough to write such a nice account of someone I love. I bought stark white sheets, too, which are a new thing for me as I’ve always preferred a bit of color but white seems appropriate.
